Purebred scottish terrier puppies , 12 weeks old today, ready to go to their forever homes from 21 October. They've had their C3 vaccination and C5 vaccination, microchipped, wormed, vet checked and passed with flying colours. They go with a puppy pack of a bed, a few toys, food bowl and some food. Puppies are raised around children and other dogs, socialised until 12 weeks with their pack and mum. Both and sire are black brindle meaning they are black with brown hairs throughout their coat. 1 male puppy black brindle quite a dark but if clipped close brindle will show through the coat. 1 wheaten female. No papers. Scotties require regular grooming and I recommend they are clipped/stripped every 8 weeks throughout spring through autumn in the warmer Australian areas. From May to September in Queensland at least just one groom at the end of May and 1 or 2 tidy ups somewhere in the middle to maintain the iconic scottie head but not too close a clip over the back as it gets cooler. You can clipper yourself if you learn how but honestly, their are some brilliant professional groomers around that clipper show dogs and it's worth it to get the perfect scottie head. My family all has scots and have them professionally groomed despite being able to do it ourselves. I am located in Caboolture and would prefer you come and see the mum and pups.I allow my pups to leave at 12 weeks as I personally feel 8 weeks is a little too young for them to go to new homes. They spend the additional time learning good habits from their mum who is still with them and socialising with each other. Pups are technically allowed to go 2 weeks after their first vaccination but my preference is 2 vaccination and 12 weeks. This is my personal preference. Apologies for my photography. Not even a fancy camera can make my terrible skills any better. Plus, puppies just dont stand still for a photo, or not scotties anyway.Microchip details, additional photos and BIN provided on enquiy to prevent photo collectors and identity scammers.
